North Central Indiana BABYfest

BABYfest 2008 is a Mommy to Be and Baby Fair for new parents, expectant parents, tiny tots, and grandparents in North-Central Indiana. BabiesRUs will be the presenting sponsor of this spectacular event. The goal of BABYfest is to provide an opportunity for new families to prepare for baby and small children through products, information, and discounts. Attendees from North-Central Indiana will experience a "one-stop" convenience for classes, contests, and giveaways, as well as access to the latest and greatest baby related products and vendors. Preparation for parenthood can be overwhelming and time consuming. ObGyn’s, pediatricians, hospitals, pre-natal and breastfeeding classes, nutrition for mom, nutrition for baby, childproofing, car seats, strollers, vaccinations, nursery décor, rocking chairs, maternity wear, diaper bags, baby clothes, booties, bottles, pacifiers, photographers, keepsakes, announcements, entertainment, education, the list seems endless!!! All of this and more will be under one roof at the JoHanning Civic Center on US31 in Kokomo, IN.

Hourly events from diaper derbies, to breastfeeding seminars, to style shows, to nursery décor, to activities for tots will be ongoing highlights at the show.

The purpose of BABYfest is to minimize the time and efforts required to effectively research and purchase all of the things a new parent might want or need. Parents will be able to get products, see options in medical care, learn vital skills, and have a lot of fun doing so at the fair.

Proceeds will benefit Family Service Association of Howard County, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering families by providing programs such as Healthy Families, Prevent Child Abuse, and a Domestic Violence Shelter.
